- After the death of George Floyd last week, America is burning, and many mainstream voices in America are cheering on the violence. We are seeing a lawless spirit and the collapse of law and order on an unprecedented scale.
- We discuss several concerning aspects of this, including the role of the media and corporations in supporting the insurrection, a growing movement to defund the police, the about-face on the part of people who wanted COVID-19 lockdown but now say protesting is more important.
- We also talk about how foreign nations are expressing solidarity with the protesters—even nations like China, Iran and Russia, who are guilty of far greater oppression and brutality.
- And we have some non-protest related stories as well, including the battle for control over EU finances, the increased danger of Russia making a nuclear first-strike, and America’s determination to completely vacate Afghanistan.
